Mount Vernon Inn Restaurant is located on George Washington's Mount Vernon
Estate and Gardens, home to George Washington for more than 45 years. The Inn
now boasts a beautiful sunken garden space ideal for your wedding ceremony. An
elegant brick and slate outdoor courtyard will hold approximately 120 seats under
a 30' x 30' white tent. A bridal staircase, perfect for pictures, will lead your
guests into the garden from our new Verandah Dining Room.
You and your guests can bask in the serenity of the country inn setting, enjoy
the impeccable service of the colonial-costumed staff, and dine in one of the
most "charming dining rooms in America."
After the gates are closed and the candles are lit, "America's oldest
national treasure" will cast a warm evening glow over your reception and
afford you and your guests breathtaking views of the Potomac River. For an extra
special treat, you can even invite George and Martha Washington to host your
guests or depart by boat as the sun sets on the Potomac.
It's no wonder that when you book your wedding at the Mount Vernon Inn,
you make "an historic decision".
