One of America‘s most historic places, the Benjamin Franklin Parkway in Philadelphia boasts countless picture-perfect places for your wedding photography session. Begin your photo shoot at the gorgeous Cathedral Basilica of St. Peter and Paul. The structure’s Roman architecture will provide a beautiful backdrop for a portrait of the bridal party, with the groomsmen and bridesmaids staggered along the entrance’s stone steps. Your wedding photographer can also have the bride and groom pose in front of the cathedral’s tall bronze doors, which are girded by towering Corinthian columns. Just remember to plan your photo shoot carefully, as this stunning location is one of Philadelphia’s most popular tourist attractions.
Once you’ve finished at the Cathedral, your bridal party can take a short limousine ride over to Logan Square. Here your wedding photographer can assemble a portrait of the bridal party in front of Swann fountain, the majestic center of the entire square. The Gothic-style College Hall is a great place to start your photo shoot. Your wedding photographer can arrange the bridal party on the steps at the building’s entrance or on the walkway of Perelman Quadrangle, with Houston Hall in the background. The verdant lawns of Levy Park (better known as “The Green”) are also perfect for a photos of the bridal party. A short walk will lead you to the University Museum, whose immaculate marble arch can be used for an intimate bride-groom portrait. These locations are just a few of the campus’s options for your wedding photography session.
After exploring the campus, you can continue your wedding photography session at Philadelphia’s famous 30th Street Station, only a mile away. Here, the bridal party can pose on the stone steps or among the towering Corinthian columns that decorate the station’s exterior. You can then head inside the station, whose stunning interior architecture will make a perfect backdrop for your wedding pictures.
