Our accomplished photographers have won Pulitzer Prizes and numerous industry awards. Their work is recognized by such nationally distributed magazines as Marie Clare and Modern Bride, and is recognized by industry resources such as Here Comes the Guide and The Knot Best of Weddings.
Our local photographers are skilled photojournalists who will capture the story of your wedding day as it unfolds naturally. They'll capture every moment you expect, and even some you don't. We've assembled the most awarded photographers in the wedding industry. Only one out of every ten photographers who apply is ultimately certified to be part of the Bella team.
The Matching Process
Every couple has a vision for their day, and we are here to ensure that your day is captured as it unfolds. Through an extensive consultation process and our Personal Style Assessment Tool, we create a style profile to match your vision and requirements for your wedding day. Nearly 100% of Bella brides are happy with their initial photographer match, but if you don't feel the photographer is the right fit, we will assign you a new one.

The Bella Pictures Timeline

1st Day with Bella — Reserve Your Date
Hold your wedding date for 14 days with a $100 reservation fee and begin your style assessment. Your first deposit won't be due until 30 days after your reservation.

Engagement & Bridal Session
Most couples schedule their engagement photo sessions 30 – 60 days after they reserve.
The hour-long shoot can occur at an indoor or outdoor location of your choosing. -
Online Wedding Day Planner
You will complete your wedding day photo and video planners online. The wedding day planners are a critical communication tool between you and your photographer/filmmaker. The tools will help us to get a sense of your style and wedding day expectations so that we can match you with the right storyteller.

90 – 180 days before your wedding day
Photography Assignment
You will be assigned a Bella Photographer once your 50% booking deposit has been received and your Wedding Day Planner has been completed. You will receive your photographer's biography page with a description of their style and approach, and a portfolio of their recent Bella weddings.

60 – 150 days before your wedding day
Meet your Photographer
30 days after assignment, your photographer will call or email to introduce themselves, and set up a time for a face-to-face meeting. During your meeting you will go through your photography planner to discuss all the details of your day. (Applies to all clients who reserved on or after May 3, 2009.)

Viewing Your Images
A beautifully edited selection of your images will be available for viewing on your personal wedding photo website approximately 28 days after your wedding. Your complete set of images on DVD will also be mailed to you 28 days after your wedding.
Creating Your Album
You may begin designing your album as soon as your images are posted. The process begins with you selecting the images and design style that you'd like to feature in your album. You should expect the process to take approximately six months from the time the images are chosen to the day you receive your completed album.
