Director, Store Sales, West Coast

About the Position
This newly-created role will execute a brand new sales strategy within the Bella brand family, augmenting our existing sales approach.  As West Coast Store Sales Director, you will build a team focused on selling wedding photography services within designated wedding retail locations.  Your team’s sales leads will be a captive audience of shoppers who need our services and are in buying mode.  Your team’s goal will be to convert as many as possible of these qualified shoppers into buying customers, generating priceless wedding memories for our clients and revenue and growth for Bella Pictures.

 

Responsibilities: 

• Hire, train, motivate and ensure performance of a retail sales team
• Manage the selling process through regular visibility in the field and performance feedback
• Manage labor hours and shift coverage in stores to maximize sales
• Work with VP of Business Development to create the highest-yielding sales tools (promotions, lead generation, closing tools)
• Work with VP of Business Development to create effective marketing and POP materials with high ROI yield
• Create and manage internal reporting on defined business metrics
• Manage budget and control expenses  

Experience Requirements:

• Proven success at managing a team of high-potential/low-experience consumer-facing sales people
• Motivational management skills, advanced communication skills
• Territory management skills   
• Expertise using a CRM system (preferably Salesforce.com) to make it easy for the salespeople to track leads and report on activity
• Experience with vendor partner relationships, managing expectations and reinforcing the win-win proposition of working together in-store
• Hands-on approach and advanced sense of urgency in a rapid growth environment. 
• Strategic thinking combined with being detail oriented
• Experience in retail is a plus, experience in the bridal market is also a plus    

Education & Experience: 

• 3+ years as a Sales Manager, with 5+ years of total sales experience
• Excellent computer skills- Microsoft Power Point, Word, Excel and Salesforce.com
• 4-year college degree
