We got a behind-the-scenes look at Denis Reggie in action shooting the rehearsal for Melissa and Jeremy's wedding featured on the Today Show! Here's what Denis Reggie had to say about the wonderful day!
"Our Denis Reggie/Bella Pictures team has arrived in New York and we’ve just returned from the wedding rehearsal for tomorrow’s NBC Today Show. This year’s theme is “modern.love” and I’ve just met the adorable couple in person for the first time. Melissa and Jeremy are glowing with happiness.
I asked Jeremy how he proposed and watched as Melissa nearly blushed again at the thought of that moment. It was May 2009, under the St. Louis arch near a reflection pool. Jeremy was just back from the war in Iraq and planned a picnic date with his girlfriend since high school. She was a bit suspicious, but assumed that it was just a picnic until the very end when a ring appeared and he proposed. The answer was an immediate “yes.” They exude an unmistakable energy when they are together – a love that transmits beautifully to the camera. I am thrilled to have such expressive subjects- their eye contact and sweet, loving expressions add so much to the story told in our images."

"The couple will learn of their honeymoon destination just after their “I do’s” when Matt Lauer, Meredith Viera, Al Roker, and Ann Curry read the voting public’s decision. As it turns out, neither bride nor groom had ever gotten passports. The Today Show team stepped in and got the documents done just in time in case their destination requires a passport. I am so excited for them and look forward to learning the destination tomorrow when it’s announced live.
Off now for a quick dinner, then right to bed to be ready for our 3:00 a.m. start for coverage. We want every detail captured from arrival at NBC Studios for hair and makeup, all the way through the wedding and reception. I can’t wait to record every moment."
