About Marco

Marco has had a camera in his hands since his childhood days in Chile. Whether it was with his parents’ old 110 camera or a newer digital SLR, photography has always been an integral part of his life. He loves to be in control of how each frame is captured, isolating a precise moment in time. His favorite quotation and inspiration is from award-winning photographer Dorothea Lange: “Photography takes an instant out of time, altering life by holding it still.”

Experience

Since graduating from the Art Institute, Marco has been gaining experience in wedding and portrait photography for over ten years. His coverage of numerous weddings has taught him to always be on the lookout for the perfect lighting situation or spontaneous display of emotion. His goal is to avoid the by-the-book look of so much wedding photography, and to capture the unique detail and joy of your day in all of its vivid color and nuance.
